Hello book people. I hope that everyone had a great holiday and walked away with lots of interesting things to read. I finished out a few books last week and started into “The Mountain in the Sea” by Ray Nayler yesterday.
In book news, I am gearing up for the release of “Lockspell” with a ebook release date on January 26th. Note that I will run a discounted ebook promotion around February 1st, so be aware in case that is your preferred way to read. Print versions should be available a week or so before, though print is not available for pre-order as I am hoping to avoid some of my past distribution issues resulting from Amazon and Ingram-Sparks not playing well together.
Here is the short blurb on “Lockspell” (Fantasy / Young Adult / Adventure) When Cinq steals a magic artifact, he hopes only to solve the mystery of his forgotten past. But as he searches, he uncovers a secret locked for centuries. He and his newfound friends may be the only ones who can release it. But will they be be able to avert the apocalypse, or are they the ones who cause it?
As for other writing projects, I am still working on another draft of “Bad Magic”, my middle grade fantasy adventure set in Antarctica. The goal is to wrap this draft by the end of the month, but that could be impacted by how smoothly the launch goes. Target release is summer of 2023. That’s all for now. I wish you a wonderful world of books in 2023. And if you have any questions, I’d love to hear from you.
